Welcome to Blinkr.

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Blinkr website, platform and related services ("Blinkr", "we", "us" or "our").

By creating a Blinkr account or using the authenticated Blinkr platform, you agree to these Terms.

1. About Blinkr

Blinkr is a business opportunity discovery platform.

Blinkr helps people identify potential opportunities by considering information such as skills, professional experience, interests, availability, resources, assets and other contributions.

Blinkr may use software-based discovery methods, ranking logic and AI-assisted analysis to support this process.

Blinkr does not guarantee that any suggested opportunity will become a successful, profitable or legally viable business.

2. Eligibility

Blinkr is intended for adults aged 18 or older.

By creating an account, you confirm that you are legally able to enter into these Terms.

3. Your account

You are responsible for:

  • providing reasonably accurate account information;
  • keeping your login credentials secure;
  • keeping important profile information reasonably up to date; and
  • notifying us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

You must not create an account using another person's identity or intentionally provide materially misleading information.

4. Signing in through third-party services

Blinkr may allow you to create or access your account using services such as Google or LinkedIn.

If you choose one of these options, Blinkr may receive profile information that you have authorised that service to provide, such as your name, email address, profile image, professional headline or other permitted information.

The exact information available depends on the third-party service, the permissions you approve and the access Blinkr has been granted by that provider.

Using Google, LinkedIn or another third-party authentication service is also subject to that provider's own terms and privacy practices.

5. Profile information

Blinkr may allow you to provide information including:

  • professional experience;
  • skills and capabilities;
  • education;
  • interests;
  • languages;
  • availability;
  • business goals;
  • participation preferences;
  • location preferences;
  • resources and assets you may be willing to contribute;
  • mentoring or volunteer interests; and
  • other information relevant to potential opportunities.

You remain responsible for the accuracy of information you submit.

You should not claim qualifications, assets, experience, rights or resources that you do not have.

6. CVs and imported information

Blinkr may allow you to upload a CV or import information from an authorised third-party source.

Blinkr may process that information to help create or complete your profile.

Where Blinkr suggests information inferred from a CV, profile or other source, you may be asked to review or confirm it before it becomes part of your profile.

Automated suggestions should not be treated as verified facts unless you have confirmed them or Blinkr explicitly states otherwise.

7. Opportunity discovery

Blinkr may identify potentially complementary combinations of:

  • people;
  • skills;
  • professional experience;
  • interests;
  • availability;
  • networks;
  • assets;
  • resources;
  • geographic preferences; and
  • other relevant factors.

Based on these combinations, Blinkr may suggest possible business opportunities, projects, teams or collaborations.

These are suggestions for exploration, not professional, financial, legal or investment advice.

You are responsible for independently assessing an opportunity before acting on it.

8. No guarantee of business success

Blinkr does not guarantee:

  • that an opportunity is commercially viable;
  • that a market exists for an idea;
  • that participants will work successfully together;
  • that information provided by another user is accurate;
  • that an opportunity complies with every applicable law or regulatory requirement;
  • that funding will be available; or
  • that an opportunity will generate income or profit.

Before forming or operating a business, users should obtain appropriate professional advice where necessary.

9. Interactions between users

Blinkr may help users discover each other or form potential teams.

Blinkr does not automatically become a party to agreements made between users.

A recommendation, team suggestion or connection through Blinkr does not by itself create:

  • a partnership;
  • employment relationship;
  • agency relationship;
  • joint venture;
  • company;
  • investment arrangement; or
  • other legal relationship.

Users are responsible for deciding whether and how they want to work together and for documenting appropriate agreements between themselves.

10. Assets and resources

Users may describe resources they could potentially contribute, such as equipment, workspace, professional knowledge, networks or other assets.

By listing a resource, you confirm that you have the right to describe or offer it in the way you have indicated.

A listing does not create an obligation to provide that resource unless the relevant parties separately agree to do so.

11. Paid, volunteer and mentoring participation

Blinkr may allow users to indicate whether they are interested in:

  • paid participation;
  • entrepreneurship;
  • mentoring;
  • volunteering; or
  • another form of collaboration.

These preferences do not themselves create a contractual relationship between participants.

Any payment, ownership, volunteering arrangement, responsibility or other condition should be agreed separately between the relevant parties.

12. Acceptable use

You must not use Blinkr to:

  • commit fraud or deception;
  • impersonate another person or organisation;
  • intentionally provide materially false professional information;
  • harass, threaten or abuse other users;
  • distribute malware or attempt to compromise the platform;
  • access another user's account without permission;
  • collect other users' information improperly;
  • send spam or unsolicited bulk communications;
  • promote illegal activities;
  • infringe intellectual-property rights; or
  • otherwise use Blinkr in a way that may harm users, the platform or third parties.

13. User content

You retain ownership of content and information you submit to Blinkr.

You grant Blinkr the limited rights necessary to store, process, display and use that content for operating the services you request, including opportunity discovery and related platform functionality.

This does not transfer ownership of your content to Blinkr.

14. Blinkr intellectual property

The Blinkr name, branding, software, interface, platform structure and original content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Except where expressly permitted, you may not copy, reproduce, reverse engineer, redistribute or commercially exploit Blinkr's proprietary software or content.

15. Third-party services

Blinkr may integrate with services provided by third parties, including authentication, hosting, video, communication or technology providers.

Those services may operate under their own terms and privacy policies.

Blinkr is not responsible for third-party services outside Blinkr's reasonable control.

16. Suspension and termination

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary, including where we believe an account:

  • seriously violates these Terms;
  • creates a security risk;
  • is being used fraudulently;
  • harms other users; or
  • must be restricted to comply with law.

Where appropriate, we will try to provide reasonable information about the reason for such action.

17. Closing your account

You may request deletion of your Blinkr account through the available account settings or by contacting us.

Deletion of personal information is handled according to our Privacy Policy and applicable legal requirements.

18. Availability and changes

Blinkr is under continuing development.

Features may be added, changed, limited or removed as the service develops.

We do not guarantee that Blinkr will operate without interruption or error at all times.

19. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law.

To the extent permitted by law, Blinkr is not responsible for losses resulting solely from users choosing to pursue a suggested opportunity, entering into arrangements with other users, or relying on information that Blinkr clearly presents as an unverified suggestion.

Mandatory consumer rights and other rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.

20. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when Blinkr, applicable law or our business practices change.

Material changes will be communicated in an appropriate way.

The current version will always be available on the Blinkr website.

21. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, subject to any mandatory rights that apply to you under applicable consumer or other law.
